The threshold in Copper Key Grove is not common property of the seven principalities, but a shared responsibility. If one principality seeks to open it, witnesses from the other six and the grove’s seasonal assent are required. A proposal to loosen this rule over Last Harvest debts is testing the council’s principles of memory and renunciation.
