Aetherborn

Aether-born people who build meaningful ties without claiming others’ time as their own, despite short or uncertain lives.

Place in Avarra

Evening Water is a small but open settlement in Pale Basin and Salt Roads, established around Nareth inner basin. It is not a separate kingdom viewed from outside; it is a village or quarter node tied to neighbouring roads, markets, and common law.

City life and diaspora

In Elyrakök, Aetherborn households participate in night markets, memory art, and contract witnessing without being confined to a single “foreign quarter.” Someone arriving from the village can find kin, an apprenticeship, a guest bed, or a partner; city-born people maintain regular ties to Evening Water.

Living together

Aetherborn are not reduced to one temperament, profession, or politics. Local agreements, access needs, and safety practices are made explicit so difference remains part of ordinary life. Their visible expertise is night markets, memory art, and contract witnessing, but it is never anyone’s compulsory destiny.
