Ancient great peoples, unknown whether they were a single civilization or rival dynasties, leaving traces from ice roads to sunken pillars.
Fomorian shoots, giant ruins, and ancient gateways are both resources and threats to modern states. No present-day community has an undisputed right to this heritage.
Fomorians and Fey exile
Some traditions describe parts of the Fomorian lineages as giants exiled from Fey or altered by Fey oaths; this is not one verified origin. Fomorians had no single side or army in the Veil Wars. A present Fomorian house’s tie to Rootbeyond may be an old debt, refused hospitality, or only a rumour imposed on it by others.

Stone, Ice, Fire and Cloud Giants are considered to have built some of the first large structures. Today's giant communities are the fragmented descendants of these dynasties.
Fomorians are a race of giants exiled from the Fey world or corrupted by its pacts. Not every Fomorian adheres to the same malevolent culture; Some want to regain their old forms.

Features
Ancient Building Information. Can double the damage dealt on giant stone and ice structures or activate a hidden function on the structure with the action.
Unshakable. Has advantage against being knocked down.

Stone Column. Melee Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, range 15 ft., one target. Hit: 24 (4d8 + 6) crushing damage.
Ruin Throw. Ranged Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, range 18/72 m., one target. Hit: 28 (4d10 + 6) crushing damage.
Legacy Step (Recharge 5–6). Stomps on the ground within a 6 meter radius. If creatures fail a GM 17 Agility save, they take 22 (4d10) crushing damage and fall to the ground.
