Peoples · Elemental Lineages

Genasi

Elemental lineage does not assign a Genasi one profession or class. In Camova, Earth, Fire, Crystal, and Ash communities maintain distinct traditions within one confederation, while water and ice lineages carry their own politics in other watersheds.

Camova

The confederation, built around glassed plains, obsidian ridges, and mineral veins, gathers its assembly in a different city every five years. The divide between Ordan supporters and independence advocates is deepening.

Canonical record

Being Genasi is not one ethnicity. Elemental heritage can emerge within a human, Elf, Dwarf, Veyran, or other humanoid family. Camova’s elemental lineages form distinct communities, while Water Genasi of the River Throne live within local current cultures.

Elemental form should not prescribe a person’s work. Although Camova’s old class order treated Earth Genasi as landholders and Fire Genasi as warriors, the modern confederation contests those assumptions.

Earth · Vein Watchers

Survey mineral roads and unstable ground. Their core figures are Armor Class 16, 68 hit points, and Challenge 3; they can ignore stone-and-earth difficult terrain, blunt a hit with Stone Skin, and raise a six-metre ridge from the ground.

Fire · Ember Masters

Forge-keepers and ritual artisans. Challenge 3 Ember Masters are immune to fire, burn attackers who strike from close range, and wield an ember blade, cinder bolt, or a foundry burst.

Water · Current Arbiters

Judges of river rights and canal agreements. They breathe air and water, slip away with fluid movement, and can raise a water wall that shields allies and slows enemies.

Ice · Frost Archivists

Keep fragile things in ice and preserve contested memory. They are immune to cold, leave treacherous tracks, strike with ice spears, and can freeze a moment around a foe.

Crystal · Memory Bearers

Carry records that can outlive institutions. Their crystal skin grants Armor Class 17; they resist psychic and radiant harm, preserve a failed knowledge check, and release a damaging memory flare.

Ash · Soil Healers

Restore exhausted land and wounded communities. They resist fire and poison, strengthen healing near them, turn briefly to smoke, and can make new growth erupt beneath allies.

A Genasi’s element is lineage and relationship, not destiny. The same element can belong to a farmer, scholar, sailor, soldier, or dissident.
