In Sazkalp, Loxodon households participate in levees, water shares, and archives without being confined to a single “foreign quarter.” Someone arriving from the village can find kin, an apprenticeship, a guest bed, or a partner; city-born people maintain regular ties to Ivory Reeds.
Living together
Loxodon are not reduced to one temperament, profession, or politics. Local agreements, access needs, and safety practices are made explicit so difference remains part of ordinary life. Their visible expertise is levees, water shares, and archives, but it is never anyone’s compulsory destiny.
