Mind Eater Ruins
Communities and individuals left behind from old Mind Flayer constructs, seals, and fragmented psychic networks.
This name is not a family name, but a social status. The psions that emerge from the seal are not by the forced judgment of their past; defined by memory, free will, and the response modern societies give to them.
Canonical record
The Mind Flayers are not an open empire today. It exists as sealed colonies, corrupted brain pools, and psionic artifacts.
Their use as an active people-state overshadows Avarra's political tone. That's why they are in the canon as rare, local and frightening relics. Some individuals may have become disconnected from the old collective mind.
