Root Bond is a small but open settlement in Meridian Rivers, established around Asteron shipyards. It is not a separate kingdom viewed from outside; it is a village or quarter node tied to neighbouring roads, markets, and common law.
City life and diaspora
In Ordanor, Khoravar households participate in boat carpentry and inheritance mediation without being confined to a single “foreign quarter.” Someone arriving from the village can find kin, an apprenticeship, a guest bed, or a partner; city-born people maintain regular ties to Root Bond.
Living together
Khoravar are not reduced to one temperament, profession, or politics. Local agreements, access needs, and safety practices are made explicit so difference remains part of ordinary life. Their visible expertise is boat carpentry and inheritance mediation, but it is never anyone’s compulsory destiny.
