Ruinbound

Citizen communities born in the shadow of old structures and broken inheritance, placing repair before ownership.

Place in Avarra

Ruin Bowl is a small but open settlement in Hollow Ring and Foundry Line, established around the Avarra underground. It is not a separate kingdom viewed from outside; it is a village or quarter node tied to neighbouring roads, markets, and common law.

City life and diaspora

In Dokuz Fener, Ruinbound households participate in repair, reuse, and common shelter without being confined to a single “foreign quarter.” Someone arriving from the village can find kin, an apprenticeship, a guest bed, or a partner; city-born people maintain regular ties to Ruin Bowl.

Living together

Ruinbound are not reduced to one temperament, profession, or politics. Local agreements, access needs, and safety practices are made explicit so difference remains part of ordinary life. Their visible expertise is repair, reuse, and common shelter, but it is never anyone’s compulsory destiny.
