In Mavi Taç, Kalamer households participate in shoal piloting and tidal farming without being confined to a single “foreign quarter.” Someone arriving from the village can find kin, an apprenticeship, a guest bed, or a partner; city-born people maintain regular ties to Walking Coral.
Living together
Kalamer are not reduced to one temperament, profession, or politics. Local agreements, access needs, and safety practices are made explicit so difference remains part of ordinary life. Their visible expertise is shoal piloting and tidal farming, but it is never anyone’s compulsory destiny.
